Bank location: The mobile bank from Lloyds is in Upton in the Old Street car park. The bank have told us that their visiting times from now on will be every other Friday only from 10.30am - 1pm.

Flood Gauge at Saxons Lode - which gives a pretty good guide to what the river level is doing. When the level is 3.95 (or thereabouts) the Environment Agency close the New Street flood gate. At 4.3 the Waterside flood gates are closed (the last gate towards the Ham is usually a bit later). At 4.6 water starts to come onto the Hanley Road. Upwards of 4.6 - 4.7 the bank at Hanley Road overtops and the Environment Agency look to closing the road.
